Alton Brown

I think this is amazing. I love thoughtful inclusive design. This is a range of AltonBrown spices made specially for the blind and visually impaired by Hampus Jageland. All of the products use the exact same layout so the user can easily identify which one they want by 'reading' it, and not having to search for the information on each package. A special measure spoon is included as well. Even the logo, AB, can be easily understood as the A has one hole and the B has two. It communicates wonderfully for the blind as well much as it does for those who aren't.

Lace Fence

Whoever thought fences could be such an interesting medium! Instead of signs you could have a symbol in the fence. Or simply just boring ugly fences no more!

Anemona (Visually unstable lamp)

An interesting project by Igor Pinigin. I think the lamp itself is so so, but the concept is pretty cool. The lamp can basically stand in any way you place/tilt it.

Flexibin - minimalist garbage bin

This is a garbage bin by Li Jianye and it won the 2009 iF product design award (international forum design). I really enjoy its simplicity of form. His blog contains other concepts by him and are pretty interesting too.

Trash Type

So I've just discovered this cool "trash type" done by Anna Garforth. Her and a bunch of second year graphic design students worked together to form the type. And it's all rubbish!
She has some other neat things to look at as well such as her illustrations and her green turf-like text.
